In Indiana, adults (18 years and older) considered to be obese and overweight show the highest representation in weight-related co-morbidities. In these individuals, the existence of high blood pressure (78%), high cholesterol (78%), diagnosis of heart attack (75%), and diagnosis of angina or coronary heart disease (78%) are approximately three times higher compared to those adults who are not considered to be overweight or obese, while for diabetes (87%), it is almost seven times higher.
